BEN JACKSON

Raised in Dayton, OH, Ben studied violin, piano, guitar, and drums before becoming seriously interested in vocal music. Upon arriving at Harvard in 1999, he joined the Harvard Callbacks and discovered vocal percussion. While developing his craft during four years with the group, he also authored and presented a paper (awaiting publication) analyzing vocal percussion from a linguistic standpoint. He also oversaw the production of the Callbacks' most recent CD, which garnered significant recognition from The Contemporary A Cappella Society of America (CASA) in 2003. He is also one of the

founding members of RRR: Rhythm, Rhyme, Results, educational
